This ADSL tester, model 701C, conducts tests while allowing the user to browse previous records. It connects to a PC via the serial port to enable the storage, analysis and printing of test data. The easy-to-use ADSL tester has a large memory capacity which enables the parameters for seven test setting to be stored, as well as, 100 groups of test results. It automatically detects signal loss, frame loss, power loss and cell loss and displays the test results on the large backlit LCD screen. In addition, the tester simulates an ISP acting as an ADSL modem to check the operating performance of the users’ terminal equipment.
