Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) has announced the release of its high frequency fixed RFID reader/writer which is specially designed for warehousing or manufacturing applications. This reader/writer is compatible with ISO15693 RFID transponders and can be used where multi-tag reading is required such as in laundry management, document tracking and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
This portable HF fixed RFID reader/writer, model 233003, conforms to the ISO 11784/5 standard and supplies a clock synchronization signal enabling applications where several readers or antennae are used in close proximity. It has an RS232 communication interface for data exchange and offers three LED status indicators. The compact reader/writer provides for easy installation and supports multiple-tag reading at distances of up to 30cm. In addition, it is resistant to dust and water and maintains optimum performance even in harsh environments.
