PARIS, August 25, 2008 (LAWFUEL) – The international law firm Bryan Cave LLP announced today that French attorney (avocat) Jilali Maazouz has joined the French law practice affiliated with Bryan Cave. Upon receipt of regulatory approval, the practice will become Bryan Cave’s Paris office.

Maazouz litigates and provides counsel on behalf of companies in civil, criminal and administrative matters. He advises businesses on employment issues such as termination, discrimination, harassment, restrictive covenants breaches, strikes and other collective conflicts.
Maazouz regularly represents French businesses and associations and French affiliates of European, U.S., Canadian, Middle East, North African and Asian multinational corporations. He counsels clients on the labor and employment aspects of their domestic and transnational commercial and corporate transactions, as well as on their due diligence investigations, audits, employment contracts, restructuring plans, reductions in force, separation agreements, workplace policies and best practices.
He also has experience in guiding clients through the opportunities and obstacles posed when trading internationally.
Maazouz received his DEA de Droit Privé (LL.M. in private law), magna cum laude, in 1993 from the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne. He speaks French, English, Arabic and Spanish.
