(Rocky) Rawls III, whose high-profile national trademark enforcement and brand protection practice spans more than 25 years, has joined Bracewell & Giuliani LLP as an Intellectual Property partner in the firm’s Houston office. He has previously practiced with other global law firms based in Houston and Los Angeles and has represented well-known entertainment figures and leading multinational companies in such diverse business sectors as food and beverages, online retailing, telecommunications and consumer goods. “Bracewell & Giuliani offers the national platform and full service resources that my client base requires,” Rawls stated. “And the Bracewell & Giuliani brand name is something that my clients value. The firm consistently ranks high for both its Texas and IP practices and has a strong litigation capability to resolve infringement disputes. “Rocky is well respected by his peers in the IP legal community for his tenacious and sophisticated defense of some of the world’s best known brands,” noted Glenn Ballard, partner, trial section head at Bracewell & Giuliani. “He will be a great complement to our growing trademark practice, both in Houston and nationally.”
