January 5, 2006 – LAWFUEL – Chadbourne & Parke LLP has successfully represented Cannon Rubber Ltd. and Avent America, Inc. in a patent appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Cannon and Avent retained Chadbourne after a district court granted summary judgment that Cannon’s breast pump patent was not infringed. On December 28, 2005, the Federal Circuit reversed the grant of summary judgment. The case is Cannon Rubber Limited et al v. The First Years, Inc., Fed. Cir. Docket No. 05-1063.
