John White Will Speak at the 32nd Annual Securities Regulation Institute in San Diego
1 December 2004 – LAWFUEL – First for law, attorney, legal news – On January 20, 2005, Cravath partner John White will chair a panel discussion on Restatements at the 32nd Annual Securities Regulation Institute. The Institute is presented by the Corporate Counsel Center of Northwestern University School of Law and is one of the two leading annual conferences on securities regulation in the country.
John’s panel is called “Restatements: What You Need to Know” and will examine a host of topics including the reasons behind restatements, key concepts such as error versus change in estimate, assessing materiality, the key players in a financial restatement, related investigations, and associated issues involving financings, publicity and SEC filing delays.
