Wilks has joined the firm as a partner in its Philadelphia/ Wilmington Business Trial Group. He will be resident in the firm’s Wilmington office. Mr. Wilks was formerly a shareholder and head of the Wilmington office of Buchanan Ingersoll, P.C.
His practice focuses on corporate and commercial litigation, including litigation before the Delaware Court of Chancery. His clients include Fortune 500 manufacturers, national retail chains, individual corporate directors and small high technology enterprises. Mr. Wilks’ first-chair experience extends to leading litigation in disputes involving corporate governance, corporate control, fiduciary duties, antitrust, corporate appraisal, intellectual property, trade secrets, employment and bankruptcy.

Mr. Wilks received his law degree in 1989 from Dickinson School of Law. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in Economics from Colgate University in 1986. He is admitted to practice in Delaware and Pennsylvania and before the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and United States District Courts for the District of Delaware and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Wilks serves on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula, as Chair of the Board’s Legal Affairs Committee and member of the Board’s Finance Committee.
