Kerri Reisdorff Selected to Chair Ogletree Deakins Women’s Initiative

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – February 5, 2018 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce that Shareholder Kerri Reisdorff will chair Ogletree Deakins Women’s Initiative (ODWIN). She succeeds Ashley Cuttino who remains with the firm based in its Greenville, SC office. ODWIN was established to support Ogletree Deakins’ women attorneys in three key areas: Power (identification and attainment of leadership positions), Access (access to meaningful internal and external development opportunities, and Results (maximizing professional success and fulfillment). ODWIN’s overall goal is to harness and spotlight the tremendous talent of Ogletree Deakins’ nearly 400 female attorneys.

Kerri has built a reputation for civic and charitable service. The Kansas City Business Journal named her a NextGen Leader. She is a proud graduate of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s Centurions Leadership Program and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City and Studios, Inc. Kerri has also been an active member of the Central Exchange and previously served on a committee dedicated to providing instruction to businesses seeking to establish or grow women resource groups within their organizations.

Kerri joined Ogletree Deakins in 2010 as a shareholder in the firm’s Kansas City office. She advises and defends clients with regard to all aspects of the employer/employee relationship, including compliance with non-discrimination statutes, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Labor Standards Act, National Labor Relations Act, and state and local employment statutes. A significant portion of Kerri’s practice is dedicated to proactive counseling and training, and Kerri is a sought after speaker in the region on topics including the ADA, FMLA, performance management, and harassment prevention. Kerri has been named a Leader in her Field by Chambers for the past seven years. Kerri earned her J.D., with distinction, from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. She is licensed to practice in Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska.
