Kilpatrick Stockton LLP announced today that Shyam Reddy, an attorney in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, has been selected for the prestigious L.E.A.D. Atlanta Class of 2005. L.E.A.D Atlanta, a Leadership Atlanta initiative for young professionals, chose only 36 individuals from nearly 100 applicants.
L.E.A.D. Atlanta provides young adults the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills, tackle challenges facing the community and develop contacts early in their careers. The integration of leadership skills with community exposure makes this program uniquely different from existing ones targeted at this age group. While L.E.A.D. (an acronym for leadership, education, action and direction) Atlanta will incorporate issues and challenges facing Atlanta, it will also include skills that will aid participants in their career and community involvement. L.E.A.D. is preparing future leaders to become good community citizens.
Shyam Reddy has legal experience in a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, licensing, commercial contracts, securities and corporate advice. Mr. Reddy is a Founder and Director of the Red Clay Democrats, Mentor/Executive Committee Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs and served as General Counsel of the Young Democrats of Georgia. He is also an active member of the Technology Association of Georgia and The Indus Bar.
