ATLANTA (May 19) – Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that partner Audra Dial has been sworn in as the President of the Junior League of Atlanta. Founded in 1916, the Junior League of Atlanta has over 3,800 members. Its missions is to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women and improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Ms. Dial was recognized as a Junior League Woman to Watch in 2005. She has been a member of the League for 10 years, and served on the Board of Directors previously as Vice President: Training and League Initiative Chair. She also served on the Junior League of Atlanta’s strategic planning committee. As president, Ms. Dial will be responsible for chairing the Board of Directors and managing all aspects of the business of the Junior League of Atlanta.
“I am honored to serve as the Junior League of Atlanta’s 94th President and carry on the Junior League of Atlanta’s legacy of leadership and service to the Atlanta community,” said Ms Dial. “And I am thrilled with the support I continue to receive from my law partners as I serve in this important role in the community.”
Ms. Dial is an experienced litigator focusing her attention on protecting trade secrets, litigating patent disputes and enforcing restrictive employment covenants. She has obtained jury verdicts finding no patent infringement and invalid patents. Ms. Dial currently serves as Board Member and Secretary of the Special Olympics of Georgia as well as a Board Member of Atlanta Children’s Shelter and Trees Atlanta. She has been recognized as a Georgia “Rising Star” by SuperLawyers magazine for the past six years.
