Christchurch-based Lane Neave has expanded to Wellington with the incorporation of boutique law firm Bell & Co.
Lane Neave has offices in Auckland and Queenstown as well as Christchurch. The 24 partner firm has a strong focus on employment law matters with Managing Partner Andrew Shaw in Christchurch and Fiona McMillan in Auckland co-leading the department, as well as handling related corporate work.
Andy Bell (pictured above) at Bell & Co has been a litigator with a focus on employment law issues for nearly 20 years, having previously worked as a partner for Fitzherbert Rowe in Palmerston North.
“We have a real focus on growing our Wellington presence. Being able to add a wider range of services to our current offering to clients in that market makes good sense and it will also bolster our already significant national employment capability,” Andrew Shaw said when announcing the move.
The move to Lane Neave will occur next January.
