LAWFUEL – The Law Firm Newswire – Michael Guilday joins Linklaters in Hong Kong this week as Counsel and Head of the firm’s Investment Management practice in Asia. Michael takes over the role from Graham Turl who left the firm recently to join funds management group, Blackrock, in Hong Kong.
Michael joins Linklaters from Allens Arthur Robinson in Sydney where he has spent the past three years leading a range of funds management transactions. Previously, Michael was a senior Managing Associate in Linklaters’ Investment Management Group in London (February 2002 to November 2004), where he worked on many high profile deals including the first CDO and real estate fund to be listed on the London Stock Exchange.
As a specialist investment funds lawyer, Michael has experience across the full range of investment funds products, including private equity funds, hedge funds, real estate funds, infrastructure funds and listed permanent capital vehicles.
