W. David Johnson of Mobile has become a Practice Group Leader for the Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Group. Johnson represents a number of healthcare providers, including hospitals, medical service companies and physicians. His practice also encompasses advice in a complete range of transactional issues, business planning and contractual matters and includes significant transaction-related consulting to rapidly growing business entities, from venture capital start-ups to multinational concerns, with emphasis on complex transactional issues. Johnson formerly held the position of Partner in Charge of the Mobile office.
George “Reggie” Copeland, Jr., Special Counsel with the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, replaces Johnson as Partner in Charge of the Mobile office. His practice focuses on mediation, product liability, medical malpractice, nursing home, insurance, bad faith and commercial litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
Brad A. Lampley of Nashville has become Partner in Charge of the Downtown Nashville office. He is a member of the Litigation and Governmental Relations Practice Groups and focuses on business litigation, real estate and construction litigation, commercial dispute resolution, sports law, and serving as legislative counsel to trade associations and businesses with interests before the Tennessee General Assembly.
Kolin B. Holladay of Nashville has become a co-leader of the Corporate / Securities / Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Team in the Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Group. Holladay routinely represents both public and private companies in a wide range of legal matters including reporting and filing obligations under federal and state securities law, public and private offerings of securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and contract negotiation and interpretation.
Raymond G. “Rusty” Russell of Jackson has become a co-leader of the Corporate / Securities / Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Team in the Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Group. His experience includes corporate law, commercial transactions and public finance, and his practice concentrates on complicated corporate restructurings for both closely held and publicly owned businesses, mergers and acquisitions, new entity formations, contractual issues, lending transactions and general corporate matters.
