A forthcoming survey from Everlaw shows that there has been a dramatic growth in cloud-based ediscov ery with the in-house usage increasing by 24 per cent in 2022 compared to a 10 per cent increase over the previous year.
The survey results, to be published on July 13, show the trend towards cloud-based law technology services continues to grow, hastened by the pandemic and an overall growth in in-house law generally.
The Innovation Survey from Everlaw also shows that almost all respondents (96 per cent) saw the shift to the cloud as inevitable by 2024. Those who considered ediscovery as the norm had increased by 66 per cent, compared to the 2021 figures.
