LawFuel.com Law News Network – Reports indicate that Country singer Sara Evans has agreed to let her husband keep half the $274,000 he pulled out of their joint bank account after the singer filed for divorce.
Evans left the “Dancing with the Stars” TV show two weeks ago after filing for divorce, accusing husband Craig Schelske of committing adultery, drinking excessively, watching porn and being verbally and emotionally abusive. Schelske denies her allegations and claims she filed for divorce after he accused her of cheating on him.
In court Thursday in Franklin, Tennessee, Evans’ attorney didn’t object to dividing the money — but said Schelske “ought to get a job.”
