LAWFUEL – Law News Network – FerradaNehme hereby announces the opening of its branch office in London, United Kingdom, as of July 3rd, 2006. Located in the heart of the City, nearby the Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations, our new branch office is a further step to position ourselves as an international law firm. A position we desire after having successfully inserted our law firm in the Chilean market for legal services in 2000.
The main objective of our branch office is to create and strengthen relationships with English and European companies and institutions which have – or are interested in developing – business in Chile. Our presence in the legal services market in London, with its sophisticated working methods, will furthermore enhance our skills and experience. As such we do not eliminate the possibility of transforming the Office into an English company which will be able to provide legal advice directly, with an emphasis on our main practice areas: competition law, regulated markets and economic litigation.
The London Office will be managed by our associate Carolina Werner, who is currently working in London, and who will be permanently supported by our law team of more than 50 persons in Santiago. Lawyers and other professionals, paralegals, assistants as well as all our support staff who are cooperating to provide the new office with the necessary resources. In this regard, we are planning to make periodical trips to London in order to strengthen, improve and extend our company.
