LAWFUEL – Legal News, Legal Jobs Network – ABC News announced yesterday that Jones Day Of Counsel Mary Fulginiti will be joining them as a news correspondent reporting on legal and investigative issues for “Primetime,” as well as other ABC platforms including “Good Morning America.” Mary, a member of the Firm’s Corporate Criminal Investigations practice, appeared as a legal analyst on CNN, MSNBC, Court TV, FOX Network, and E! regarding high-profile criminal cases while at Jones Day.

Prior to Jones Day, Mary was with the Firm O’Neill & Sun, a firm where a number of lawyers joined Jones Day in 2003. In addition to her work in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, Mary managed complex cases and investigations in the U.S. and abroad and tried and argued dozens of cases in federal district court, including a pro bono case involving William French Anderson, the scientist known as the “father of gene therapy.”

In addition, Mary served as an assistant U.S. attorney in Los Angeles for five years, where her areas of responsibilities included investigating and prosecuting crimes such as bank robbery, homicide, bank fraud, money laundering, and wire, credit card, and tax fraud. She also conducted investigations with the FBI, DEA, and IRS, including an investigation into one of the FBI’s most wanted criminals and investigations of international drug cartels and money launderers.
