LAWFUEL – Press Release Service – Allen & Overy advised Emap Plc in relation to the sale of Emap France to Arnoldo Mondadori Editore S.p.A., the listed Italian publisher, for a cash consideration of approximately €550 million (£380 million). The sale is conditional upon the receipt of European regulatory clearance.
Emap France is a leading consumer magazine publisher in France with a portfolio of over 40 titles, including TV listings, lifestyle and specialist interest magazines.
Partner Jean-Claude Rivalland (M&A) led the team responsible for this transaction, assisted by senior associate Karine Montagut. Partner Sabine Smith-Vidal (EPI) advised on the employment law matters and senior associate Florence Ninane on the antitrust aspects.
