LAWFUEL – Press Release Service – Clifford Chance US LLP is pleased to announce that Grant Buerstetta, Jason A. D’Angelo, Christopher M. Joralemon and Christopher Roman, all resident in our New York office and Margaret Snyder, resident in our Washington, D.C. office, have become counsel to our firm.
Grant Buerstetta is a counsel in the Financial Products Group in New York. His practice focuses on CDOs, asset-backed securities and other structured finance transactions, representing issuers, underwriters, collateral managers, trustees and other transaction parties in collateralized debt obligation and asset-backed debt securities issuances by special purpose entities, structured investment vehicles and conduits. Grant earned his JD from Boston University School of Law and his BS in Business and Economics from Lehigh University.
Jason A. D’Angelo is a counsel in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group in New York. He specializes in complex class action litigation, regulatory investigations, and general commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on securities litigation. Jason recently was part of the trial team that successfully defended Alliance Capital in a multi-billion dollar lawsuit brought by Florida’s state employee pension plan. Jason earned his JD from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Fordham Law Review, and received his BA in History & Government from Lehigh University. Prior to joining the firm, he served as law clerk to the Honorable David N. Edelstein (SDNY) from 1997 through 1999.
Christopher M. Joralemon is a counsel in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group in New York, focusing primarily on securities regulation and white collar defense. He represents institutional and individual clients in a broad range of matters, including regulatory and criminal investigations and civil proceedings. Christopher earned his JD from Boston University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Boston University Law Review, and his BA in Political Science from the College of New Jersey.
Christopher Roman is a counsel in the Tax Group in New York. He focuses on real estate investment trusts, private equity fund formation, mergers & acquisitions, capital markets and financial products. Prior to joining the firm, Christopher was an associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York and Los Angeles. Before that he was a senior manager in the Transaction Advisory Services Group of Ernst & Young LLP. He received his L.L.M. from New York University School of Law, his JD from the University of Akron School of Law and his BS in Accounting from Indiana University.
Margaret Snyder is a counsel in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group in Washington, DC. Margaret’s practice focuses on securities litigation and regulatory enforcement actions. She represents issuers, individuals, broker-dealers, investment companies, and financial institutions in a broad range of civil, administrative and enforcement-related actions. Margaret earned her JD from the Georgetown University Law Center and her BA in International Relations from Brown University.
