LAWFUEL – Press Release Service – International law firm Bird & Bird has recruited Sally Shorthose, to boost its International Life Sciences Group. Based in the firm’s London office, Sally joins Bird & Bird from Eversheds where she was head of their IP & Life Sciences Group. Sally’s appointment follows on from international developments across the group which has boosted its capabilities with key recruits joining its offices in Madrid and Paris.
As a non-contentious lawyer specialising in IP, commercial and regulatory issues for the bio-sciences and pharmaceutical industries, Sally brings invaluable experience to the firm which she gained from working both in private practice and industry. She spent 11 years working in-house, firstly as senior legal advisor at ICI/Zeneca and latterly as Legal Director of Novartis UK, where she was responsible for all legal matters for the Novartis Group within the UK. As well as working at Eversheds, Sally has also led the IP & IT team at Clyde & Co.
