LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Allen & Overy is advising United Business Media plc (‘UBM’) on the sale of its 20 per cent stake in Satellite Information Services (‘SIS’), to Catalyst Media Group plc (‘Catalyst’). Catalyst is raising the cash consideration through a share placing and the issue of a deeply discounted bond.
SIS is the leading provider of live television pictures, data display services and broadcast services for horse and greyhound racing to the licensed betting industry in the UK and Ireland.
Corporate partner Ian Lopez is leading the Allen & Overy team, assisted by associate David B Johnson and tax advice is being provided by associate Ben Eaton.
