LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – On March 11, Cravath partner Faiza Saeed will speak at Tulane University Law School’s 17th Annual Corporate Law Institute. She will serve as a panelist for a discussion entitled “Navigating the Twists and Turns of an Again More Traveled (But Bumpier) Road to Doing Deals”.
Panelists will discuss and debate legal, tactical and shareholder solicitation issues important in recent friendly and hostile global deals; the current state of law on takeover defenses and deal protection devices; current SEC issues affecting M&A; and the implications of Sarbanes-Oxley internal control reports requirements on dealmaking.
