John joined Cravath in 1975 and has been a partner since 1980, focusing primarily on securities and corporate governance matters.

Mr. White has been one of approximately 20 corporate partners responsible for Cravath’s U.S. and international securities practice. During the past two years, the Firm has completed more than $300 billion of securities offerings for its clients, including approximately $100 billion in financings by non-U.S. issuers. In 2005, Cravath was ranked number one as underwriters’ counsel for IPOs by Thomson Financial.
