LAWFUEL – The Law Newswire – Cocaine was found on Lindsay Lohan following her arrest on DUI charges for the second time in recent months. She is now on bail.
Fox News report that Lohan, 21, was booked on two misdemeanor charges of suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license and two felony charges of possession of cocaine and transport of a narcotic, said Sgt. Shane Talbot.
She was then released on $25,000 bail.
Lohan was pulled over near the Santa Monica Police Department after authorities spotted her car chasing another vehicle, Talbot said.
Police conducted a field sobriety test and then took Lohan to the police department. Lohan’s blood alcohol level was between .12 and .13, well over the .08 legal limit in California.
Police said they received a call around 1:30 a.m. from passengers in a black Cadillac Escalade sport utility vehicle who said they were being chased by a white Denali SUV. Police met up with the SUVs in the parking lot of Santa Monica’s Civic Center, about a block away from the police department.
