LAWFUEL – The Legal Newswire – Dow Jones & Company, publisher of The Wall Street Journal, has entered into a definitive agreement to be purchased by News Corporation for approximately $5.6 billion.
Skadden Arps is representing News Corporation. After weeks of negotiations, members of the Bancroft family, who represent 37 percent of the voting shares of Dow Jones, agreed to back the deal.
