LawJobsPipeline.com – Law Jobs – Do lawyers want to be any more than highly paid money-making machines? That’s the question raised by The Times columnist Edward Fennell in his column. Gyms and similar perks are all well and good, but are lawyers receiving job satisfaction and intellectual stimulation?

That’s the more academic query posed by Sandy Shandro, Dean of Laws at University College, London, who says that many young lawyers are not being given the intellectual breadth and stimulation that they need to get satisfaction from the work they undertake. Bright minds and lively brains need richer fare than a daily diet of hard grind. Her aim is directed towards Masters programmes for lawyers, to encourage ongoing learning and stimulation.
