London, 23 March 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Baker & McKenzie announced today that it advised Delaware North Companies (UK) on an agreement with Arsenal Football Club under which its subsidiary Delaware North Companies (UK) Hospitality Services Limited (Delaware North) is appointed as Official Caterer of Emirates Stadium.
Under the terms of the deal Delaware North will become the sole and exclusive provider of all catering services for matches, other events and functions at the new 60,000 seat Emirates Stadium, which is expected to open in August 2006.
One of the largest privately held companies in the United States, Delaware North Companies Inc. provides retail, hospitality and food services at more than fifty sporting venues and entertainment complexes across the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
The Baker & McKenzie London team was led by Commercial Partner Duncan Reid-Thomas with assistance from Tax Partner Alex Chadwick and Finance Associate Sean Rush.
