Roseland, NJ – Lowenstein Sandler is pleased to announce that it has elected three attorneys as Members of the firm effective January 1, 2011: Peter J. Fusco in the Corporate Department and Tech Group, and Michael J. Reinhardt and Jonathan C. Wishnia in the Corporate Department.

Peter J. Fusco, 39, advises on all stages of venture capital transactions, including seed and angel investments, traditional and corporate venture capital investments, private placements, strategic partner investments and related financing alternatives. He represents venture funds, placement agents, private equity funds and early- to growth- stage venture and private-equity backed technology companies, and has helped our clients succeed in more than 100 transactions in the past several years. Mr. Fusco also counsels clients on pre-incorporation planning, technology-driven joint ventures, strategic alliances and mergers and acquisitions. He has experience in a variety of industries, including technology, life sciences, medical devices, defense technologies, IT/software and communications.
Mr. Fusco earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and his B.A. with highest honors and departmental honors from Norwich University (Military Campus).
Michael J. Reinhardt, 40, represents financial sponsors, private and public corporations and investment banks in a variety of acquisition, securities and finance and other matters. He is experienced in merger and acquisition transactions and public and private securities offerings as well as federal securities law compliance matters. He also has significant experience in investment banking compliance matters.
Mr. Reinhardt received a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Rutgers College, magna cum laude. Immediately following graduation from law school he was a law clerk to a federal district court judge in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Jonathan C. Wishnia, 33, advises on mortgage and structured finance matters, including the trading and financing of whole loans and servicing rights, the servicing of mortgage loans and the securitization of various asset classes. Mr. Wishnia also works in coordination with the Capital Markets Litigation Group, providing forensic analysis services in connection with litigation and restructuring matters relating to mortgage- and asset-backed securities, collateralized debt obligations, asset-backed commercial paper conduits, structured investment vehicles and derivatives. In addition, Mr. Wishnia counsels clients on secured and unsecured credit facilities, asset purchases and sales, mergers and acquisitions and other general corporate and finance matters. Mr. Wishnia speaks at securitization industry conferences domestically and in Europe, and regularly appears in the media on topics impacting the global securitization markets.
Mr. Wishnia earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.B.A. in finance and risk management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was an initiate into the Iron Cross (Honor) Society.
