Manish K. Mehta Appointed Vice President of the Indian American Bar Association of Chicago

CHICAGO – Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the United States, is pleased to announce that attorney Manish K. Mehta has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Events and Publicity for the Indian- American Bar Association (IABA) of Chicago. In addition, nine new board members have been named to the association’s 2008 Board of Directors. All will be inaugurated on January 24, 2008 at a ceremony and reception to be held at Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, Chicago.

Mr. Mehta’s duties will include organizing and promoting the organization’s events, including IABA of Chicago’s networking socials, fundraising dinners, luncheons and the inauguration reception. Also, the IABA of Chicago will be the host for the annual North American South Asian Bar Association Convention to be held on June 26-29, 2008 in Chicago.

Mr. Mehta’s intellectual property law practice focuses on patent prosecution and litigation. He earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois.
