Local Attorney Named to Largest Southern California Defense Organization
LOS ANGELES–LAWFUEL – Legal Announcements–Randall J. Dean, a partner at Los Angeles-based law firm Chapman, Glucksman, Dean, Roeb & Barger, is announced as the incoming president of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel (ASCDC), the nation’s largest state civil defense organization. Dean’s one-year term officially became effective on Feb. 1, 2008.
“It is an honor to represent a group of professionals whom I hold in such high regard,” said Dean. “I am ready to start my term as president of the organization and am also gratified to see our great organization once again bring such actionable and topical subject matter to its members through its educational efforts.”
As the president of ASCDC, Dean will determine programming for the organization’s annual seminar with the group’s executive board, and has indicated that one of his highest priorities will be to find ways to make the association more relevant on a daily basis to its members. A professional malpractice specialist who also focuses on business litigation, Dean is a partner and practicing attorney at newly renamed Chapman, Glucksman, Dean, Roeb & Barger. He is a member of the Los Angeles Superior Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, Los Angeles County Bar Judicial Evaluation Committee, American Bar Association, Los Angeles County, Orange County and Santa Monica Bar Associations, and the Defense Research Institute. He has successfully tried, arbitrated and mediated numerous high-profile disputes. His areas of specialization include accountant malpractice matters, and real estate and business litigation.
