New York, April 28, 2004 – Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, one of the world’s leading law firms, advised Invensys plc in its agreement to sell its Powerware business to Eaton Corporation for a gross cash consideration of US $560 million. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of June.

Powerware is a leading global provider of comprehensive power quality and power management solutions. Invensys is a global automation, controls and process solutions group.
