New York – (August 3, 2005) – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is pleased to announce that Kyra K. Bromley and Carl Riehl, resident in our New York office, have been named Counsel to the firm.

Kyra K. Bromley is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on antitrust law in both litigation and transactional contexts, and she has extensive experience with competition filings in the U.S. and abroad. Ms. Bromley received her J.D., with distinction, in 1993 from Emory University School of Law, where she was an Associate Editor on the Emory Law Journal and admitted to the Order of the Coif. She received her B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988. She joined Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in 1993.

Carl Riehl is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. His practice spans both litigation and corporate transactional work, with an emphasis on intellectual property matters. Mr. Riehl received his J.D. in 1995 from Yale Law School, where he won the Edward D. Robbins Prize and was a member of the Yale Law and Policy Review. He received his B.A. in Mathematics and his B.Mus. in Piano Performance in 1990 from Oberlin College, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He was an associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP from 1995-1996, and since 1997. From 1996-1997, he was a Law Clerk to Hon. Gilbert S. Merritt.
