New York, June 3, 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Dewey Ballantine LLP, an international law firm, announced today that it was recognized by International Tax Review as the top U.S. law firm in Europe. The firm received the award at The
International Tax Review European Awards ceremony on May 25th at Claridge’s
Hotel in London. Competition was strong, with Dewey Ballantine taking the
award ahead of five other nominated law firms.
The judging committee recognized the firm’s rapid expansion in its European
practice, with the ability to provide international tax service in the UK,
Germany, Italy and Poland. Dewey Ballantine attorneys highlighted for
their exceptional tax work included London office managing partner Fred
Gander, as well as David Blumenthal in the London office, Luca Dezzani in
Milan, Tomasz Kacymirow in Warsaw, and Frankfurt office managing partner
Hanno Berger.
