Mr. Klinger, (50), serves on Stroock’s Operating Executive Committee. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation. He counsels a diverse range of both public sector and private business clients on a variety of matters, including labor and employment law, real estate and land use and healthcare. He is integrally involved in the firm’s representation of public employee unions and healthcare facilities.
He is best known for his work on behalf of public sector labor unions, including the United Federation of Teachers and the Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association in their collective bargaining negotiations and arbitrations. He also handles school financing and pension litigations for the UFT. He represented New York University School of Law in litigation that permitted it to construct its new Law Center. In the field of land use, he represented the Museum of Arts and Design in its recent victories that allowed the museum to proceed with revitalizing 2 Columbus Circle.
