NEW YORK, Nov. 8 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network — WolfBlock Public Strategies, the government relations firm headed by former Democratic National Committee Finance Chair Robert Crowe, launches its New York practice today, Election
Day.

Political veterans Stuart A. Shorenstein, Kenneth K. Fisher and David E.
Bronston will head up the New York City-based team which offers consulting and
lobbying services to corporate, nonprofit and government clients. The firm
also includes former top staffers from the staffs of former U.S. Senate
Majority Leader Bob Dole and U.S. Senator John Kerry, and has offices in
Washington, DC, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

To mark the launch of the practice in New York, WolfBlock Public
Strategies is holding two events for clients and friends:

Today at 7 pm, the firm will host a New York Mayoral Election Night
Reception where elected officials, journalists, movers-and-shakers, as well as
clients will await the election results at WolfBlock’s New York offices at 250
Park Avenue in Manhattan.

The second event on November 9, 2005 starting at 6:30 pm is a discussion
on “The Business of Government: How to Market Goods, Services and Property to
the Government.” Speakers will include Andrew Eristoff, New York State
Commissioner of Finance & Taxation; Marla Simpson, director of the New York
City Mayor’s Office of Contract Services and City Chief Procurement Officer;
and Christopher Cushing, a member of WolfBlock Public Strategies and former
senior advisor to Senator Bob Dole. This networking event for approximately
100 business leaders will be held at Club 101 at 101 Park Avenue, also in

Shorenstein, who serves as president of WolfBlock Public Strategies

for then-Attorney General-Elect Eliot Spitzer. He is a Democratic District
Leader on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

A former member of the New York City Council from 1991-2001 (D-Brooklyn),
Ken Fisher concentrates his practice on the civic fabric of the metropolitan
New York area. Fisher is host of CityWide, a monthly public affairs television
program produced by CUNY-TV.
David Bronston has served as general counsel of the New York City
Department of Information Technology in both the Giuliani and Dinkins
Administrations.
