NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Aug. 4, 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Ludger Limited LLC (http://www.ludgerltd.com) and Andrew Barile Consulting Corporation (http://www.abarileconsult.com) announced today the formation of a strategic alliance to provide a professional resource to the international investment community, specifically devoted to reinsurance treaty review and analysis.

For the past 20 years Andrew Barile Consulting Corporation, Inc. has been a leading force in insurance and reinsurance consulting – providing unique and creative insurance solutions to members of the insurance industry. Founded by Mr. Andrew J. Barile, MBA, CPCU, the firm has been at the forefront of both finite and infinite reinsurance treaty design, development and implementation. Mr. Barile is also the author of A Practical Guide to Finite Risk Insurance and Reinsurance (1995), Reinsurance . . . A Practical Guide, White Paper, (2001) and Could What You Don’t Know About Reinsurance Bankrupt Your Business?, Insurance Journal, October 29, 2001 to name some of his more prominent works.

Since 1995 Ludger Limited LLC, headed by Mr. John Lepire,
has specialized in reinsurance program development/analysis
and insurance program design. Mr. Lepire has over 37 years experience in treaty reinsurance program development, review and implementation along with having been principally involved in the launch of industry specific insurance companies such as North American Physicians, ICIP (International Ironworkers Union), California Mutual Insurance Company and United Physicians Insurance – to name some of the more prominent.

The alliance intends to offer a full array of services to
the institutional investors that are operating in either the insurance and reinsurance industry, including:

– Reinsurance treaty review and analysis relative to the
differentiation between finite and risk bearing type
reinsurance

– Reporting relative to both the short- and long-term
effects on the insurance or reinsurance company’s
financial statement of in-force finite reinsurance
treaties

– Analysis of both underwriting and/or timing risk transfer

– Review of possible contingent commission payment terms on
quota share treaties and their possible short- and
long-term impact on the insurance or reinsurance company’s
financial statement

– An overview of the perceived impact of the foregoing on
the insurance or reinsurance company’s stock value

“We look forward to working with the international
investment community in what John and I believe to be a most useful adjunct to their normal financial analysis of the insurance and reinsurance industry, thru this important strategic alliance,” said Barile, President and CEO of Andrew Barile Consulting Corporation. “There is a tremendous need for institutional investors to have a full and complete financial picture of an insurance or reinsurance company, beyond what the traditional rating agencies currently provide,” stated Lepire, Chairman of Ludger Limited LLC.

Mr. Barile is considered to be arguably the most
knowledgeable resource relative to the structure, design and implementation of both finite and risk-bearing reinsurance treaties. Mr. Lepire has been involved in the review, auditing and reporting on finite and risk-bearing reinsurance treaties since 1979, having previously been instrumental in the audits of The Hartford, Commercial Union, Travelers, Firemen’s Fund and the CNA to name some of the more prominent domestic insurance and reinsurance companies.

In addition to the foregoing, Ludger and Barile Consulting,
if necessary, have immediate access to internationally well known and highly regarded financial and actuarial professionals.
