October 18, 2006 – LAWFUEL – Asian Law News – Hong Kong –The international law firm Jones Day announced that its new partner, Christine M. Kim, has joined its Hong Kong office to lead the firm’s real estate practice in Asia.

Ms. Kim joins Jones Day from Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, where she has been a real estate partner in its New York office since 1997. “This is an important additional element to our service offering in Asia. Christine gives us an opportunity to offer a dedicated and highly experienced real estate advisory service to clients in Asia as well as international clients who are in the Asian property sector”, said Barbara Mok, Partner-in-Charge of Jones Day Hong Kong.

Ms Kim is a member of The Board of Visitors of Georgetown University, the School of Foreign Service and a member of the Advisory Board for Center for Hope (Haiti). Currently, she is an adjunct professor at the KDI School of Management and Policy in Seoul, Korea, lecturing on Real Estate Securities; REITs and Beyond.
