Timothy C. Atkins (Berwyn) is a corporate lawyer who concentrates his practice in the representation of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, computer and other high-technology companies, with a particular emphasis on corporate transactions, venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property transactions. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.A. 1991) and Villanova University School of Law (J.D. 1997), he joined Pepper in 1997.
Benjamin P. Cooper (Philadelphia) concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and higher education law. He has represented corporate clients in litigation involving corporate governance issues, contract disputes and other business torts, and a wide array of other complex disputes. He has advised colleges and universities on compliance with federal and state regulations, governance issues and a variety of litigation matters. A graduate of Amherst College (B.A. 1994) and the University of Chicago Law School (J.D. 1997), he joined Pepper in 2004.
Maria A. Feeley (Philadelphia) concentrates her practice in commercial litigation and tort law. She represents plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving business disputes, business torts and breach of contract claims. She also represents corporate clients in cases involving product liability claims, professional liability and malpractice allegations, and complex insurance coverage and bad faith claims. A graduate of Rosemont College (B.A. 1993) and Washington and Lee University School of Law (J.D. 1997), she joined Pepper in 2004.
Scott E. Fireison (Washington, D.C.) represents public and private, for-profit and nonprofit organizations in connection with affordable housing programs, including the purchase, sale, development, financing, investment and operational activities of, as well as compliance with, the multitude of programs. A graduate of the University of Maryland (B.S. 1992) and George Washington University Law School (J.D. 1996), he joined Pepper in 1996.
John C. Hansberry’s (Pittsburgh) practice covers a variety of litigation, including trials, appeals and arbitrations. He is experienced in class actions, international arbitrations, appellate cases and other complex litigation matters. A graduate of Yale University (B.A. 1989) and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (J.D. 1994), he joined Pepper in 1999.
Christopher J. Huber (Philadelphia) concentrates his practice in commercial litigation matters, with a particular focus on securities fraud and antitrust, including litigation, mergers and acquisitions, counseling and government investigations. A graduate of Yale University (B.A. 1994) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D. 1997), he joined Pepper in 2002.
Solomon Hunter, Jr. (Philadelphia) concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, start-up and venture capital financings, and private equity transactions. Mr. Hunter graduated from the University of Tennessee (B.S. 1981) and received an M.B.A. from Pennsylvania State University (1984). A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (J.D. 1995), he joined Pepper in 2004.
John W. Jones, Jr. (Philadelphia) concentrates his practice in corporate and health care matters. He also counsels health care companies on company formation, organization, governance and risk management issues. Mr. Jones graduated from the University of Delaware (B.A. 1993) and received a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania (M.S.W. 1997). A graduate of Dickinson School of Law (J.D. 1997), he joined Pepper in 2001.
Todd B. Reinstein (Washington, D.C.) focuses his practice on the corporate structuring of domestic and international transactions, corporate tax counseling, tax due diligence, tax shelter compliance, and the overall tax aspects of bankruptcy and workouts. He received degrees from Tulane University (B.S.M. 1991), Nova Southeastern University (M.Acc. 1993) and the University of Florida College of Law (J.D. 1997). He received an LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center (1999), and joined Pepper in 2004.
Angelo A. Stio III (Princeton) focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation matters relating to consumer finance, contract disputes, construction disputes and real estate disputes. A graduate of Seton Hall University (B.S. 1988, and M.P.A. 1991) and Seton Hall Law School (J.D. 1997), he joined Pepper in 2001.
James P. Thomas (Pittsburgh) concentrates his practice in labor and employment law, and complex commercial and construction litigation. A graduate of Boston University (B.A. 1992) and Duquesne University School of Law (J.D. 1995), he joined Pepper in 2002.
