Fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced solicitor to broaden their legal experience in this busy government department. As part of the Legal and Advisory Services team, you will work in partnership with managers, external agencies and government departments to provide high level, timely and comprehensive legal advice on a range of matters.

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

• A Bachelor of Laws degree together with a current practising certificate (3 –5 years plus PQE)
• Knowledge of the workings of the public sector and the Parliamentary process
• A1 communication and presentation skills
• Strong client and customer relationship skills
• The ability to provide succinct and timely legal advice
• Proven team player skills with drive, ambition, enthusiasm and a flexible positive approach
• The ability to cope well under pressure, be proactive and confident in the advice you are providing
