13 New Queens Counsel Appointed in New Zealand

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]New Zealand Attorney General Chris Finlayson has announced the appointment of thirteen Queens Counsel for 2017, including three women and a leading academic from Victoria University of Wellington.

There has been an effort to increase the number of female QCs in the country, as there has been in other jurisdictions.

The appointments include 10 senior counsel from Auckland and the rest from Wellington and Tauranga.
