Reed Smith have secured former corporate and technology partner at Gowling WLG, David Brennan as a partner in the firm’s corporate group in London.
Brennan is an experience corporate finance and technology lawyer who has worked on numerous tech, startup, media, biiotech and other deals and is a major acquisition by Reed Smith.

Global law firm Reed Smith today announces the appointment of David (Davey) Brennan as a partner in its Global Corporate Group, based in the London office.
Brennan brings extensive international corporate finance experience across both equity capital markets and private/public M&A, acting on a broad range of fundraising matters on both issuer and bank side, including IPOs, secondaries, buyouts, and takeover code matters.
With a particular focus on the technology sector, Brennan advises companies throughout their entire life cycle, from start-up/scale-up stage through to successful exit. His practice spans a wide range of industries, including technology, media, pharmaceuticals, biotech, and fintech, and he regularly acts for founders, management teams, banks, and investors on complex cross-border transactions.
Brennan’s appointment strengthens Reed Smith’s ECM and public listings capabilities in London while enhancing the firm’s broader capital markets and M&A offering across Europe. His extensive corporate finance and technology experience is also expected to foster close collaboration across the firm’s funds, tax, regulatory, competition, finance, and technology teams globally.
