San Francisco, CA- LAWFUEL – Kirkpatrick & Lockhart LLP (K&L) solidifies its presence in Northern California with the addition of Kevin Trock, a highly experienced intellectual property partner handling complex litigation matters involving patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. Trock is the fourth senior attorney to join the ranks of skilled practitioners in K&L’s growing San Francisco office over the last two months.

Trock’s broad litigation experience serves clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, high-tech, mass-market retail, and entertainment industries.

Prior to joining K&L, Trock was a partner in the Midwest law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP and an arbitrator for the Illinois Circuit Court. Trock also serves as an arbitrator and mediator for the World Intellectual Property Organization, resolving Internet domain name and other intellectual property disputes.

Before receiving his JD from Loyola University of Chicago in 1992, Trock served as the executive editor for the Loyola Consumer Law Reporter and was a senior member of the Loyola Law Journal. Trock also holds bachelor’s degrees in biology and science education from Oregon State University.
