SANTA MONICA, May 25, 2007 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Wire – Paul Tauger and Patricia Wyrod have joined the international law firm Bryan Cave LLP as counsel in the firm’s Santa Monica office. Wyrod joins Bryan Cave from her own firm in Silicon Valley and Tauger comes from Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis in San Francisco. Both will practice with Bryan Cave’s intellectual property group.

Tauger advises clients on IP protection, licensing and litigation. He represents clients in a diverse group of industries with a primary focus on interactive electronic entertainment. He has been an invited speaker on intellectual property and game law at game industry conferences and seminars throughout the United States. Tauger received his J.D. from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, his M.F.A. from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Wyrod has negotiated technology transactions in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. Her diverse client base ranges from prominent start-up Virgin America Inc. to the alternative San Francisco magazine Todo. She has successfully negotiated technology transactions on four continents in a prior in-house position with an international software company based in San Francisco, and also has held in-house positions with US and French publicly-traded companies. Wyrod received an advanced degree in European Union Law from College of Europe, Belgium, her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor and her B.A., with honors, from The Honors College, University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
