Six New Partners At Thompson Hine – US Legal Announcements

CLEVELAND–LAWFUEL – The Legal Newswire –Thompson Hine LLP has elected six lawyers to the firm’s partnership effective January 1, 2008. They are:

Eric S. Clark, a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group in the Cincinnati office. He is experienced in a variety of labor and employment matters, including union organization campaigns, union negotiations, strikes, employment discrimination litigation, mediations, arbitrations, matters before the National Labor Relations Board and ERISA litigation. Clark received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and his B.S.B.A. from John Carroll University.

Andrew H. Cox, a member of the firm’s Product Liability Litigation practice group in the Cleveland office. He focuses his practice on the defense of claims against manufacturers and designers of automobiles, aircraft and aircraft components, building materials, commercial food processing equipment and other commercial and consumer products. Cox received his J.D., high distinction, Order of the Coif, from The University of Iowa College of Law and his B.A. from The University of Iowa.

Matthew E. Liebson, a member of the firm’s Competition, Antitrust & White-Collar Crime practice group in the Cleveland office. He focuses his practice on antitrust and unfair competition litigation, as well as advising clients on antitrust and unfair competition matters, including covenants not to compete. Liebson received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Denison University.

Julia Ann Love, a member of the firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice group in the Cleveland office. She focuses her practice on the design, establishment and maintenance of tax-qualified pension, 401(k) and profit-sharing plans; non-qualified deferred compensation plans; equity compensation arrangements; and health and welfare benefit plans, including issues arising in mergers and acquisitions. Love received her J.D., cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Boston University.

John R. Mitchell, a member of the firm’s Product Liability Litigation practice group in the Cleveland office. His practice focuses on disputes involving toxic torts, products and premises, and injuries to persons and property. He also has a substantial white-collar criminal practice. Mitchell received his J.D. from Capital University Law School, where he was a member of the law review, and his B.A. from The Ohio State University.

Robert Rywkin, a member of the firm’s Commercial & Public Finance practice group in the New York office. His practice focuses on corporate trust and fiduciary representation with a particular emphasis on structured finance matters, including various types of asset-backed transactions, securitizations, global and project financings and collateralized financings. Rywkin received his J.D. from The University of Miami School of Law and his B.A. from The City College of New York.
