Skadden Arps has shown itself to be the biggest law firm brand in the annual Acritas US law firm brand index, compiled from a survey of over 700 general counsel.
The Skadden win was for the second straight year and was followed by Jones Day, Baker & McKenzie and Latham & Watkins
It appears that the “big is best” mantra wins the day, according to CEO and founder of Acritas, Lisa Hart Sheperd. Firms that grew through mergers or organically tended to grow their brands as well, she said.
