ORLANDO, Fla. – GrayRobinson is pleased to announce Julie Posteraro has joined the firm as a shareholder in its Litigation Section. A former Assistant U.S. Attorney for more than a decade in the Middle District of Florida, Posteraro is also known for representing major corporate clients in complex, high-stakes civil litigation arising from large-scale disasters and catastrophic events.
Based in the firm’s Orlando office, Posteraro is a high-stakes litigator focused on complex litigation, government investigations, and white-collar defense. She represents clients in complex defense litigation and regulatory matters, drawing on her U.S. Department of Justice and private practice experience to guide clients through sophisticated, bet-the-company matters with sound judgment and strategic precision.
“We are thrilled Julie Posteraro has joined our team of litigators at GrayRobinson,” said GrayRobinson Litigation Section Chair Jay Brennan. “Julie’s perspective as a former federal prosecutor in one of the nation’s largest federal jurisdictions, combined with her approach to sophisticated disputes, strengthens our litigation practice and the counsel we provide to clients.”
During her tenure at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, Posteraro handled a wide range of matters and supervised over 120 attorneys as part of the district’s executive leadership team. Prior to public service, she focused on complex commercial litigation defense in national and international disputes at a major international law firm.
“I’m excited to join GrayRobinson as a shareholder and continue representing clients in complex high-stakes litigation and regulatory matters,” said Posteraro. “GrayRobinson’s collaborative approach and depth of experience across legal, regulatory, and business sectors are the ideal platform for clients facing sophisticated, bet-the-company matters.”
Posteraro earned her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. She is admitted to practice in Florida, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
