USB TI DSP Emulator Supports Multiprocessor Debugging

Toronto, Canada – GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) has announced the release of its Plug-and-Play USB TI DSP emulator. The emulator’s design is based on XDS560 technology for real-time debugging. It operates in conjunction with TI Code Composer Studio IDE debug tool. The emulator is an invaluable tool in decreasing project time and also an ideal solution.
This practical TI DSP emulator, TDS560, provides a real-time sequence server without interrupting the application and programmable TCK from 500kHz to 35MHz. The T emulator provides a 1.5m cable/pod and is intended to be used with digital signal processors (DSP) operating at 1.0 to 5.0 volts. All pod signals are ESD protected and hardware provides for the detection of power loss and cable disconnects. This easy-to-use emulator supports TI DSPs with a JTAG interface, such as C2000, F2400, C27X, F28X, C54X, C55X, C6000, C64X, TMS470 (ARM) and OMAP. It supports multiprocessor debugging of various types and features USB compatibility, simple connection, no switch settings as well as hardware detection of power losses and cable disconnects. The emulator runs under Windows 98, 2000, XP and Server 2003 operating systems.
