WASHINGTON, D.C. LAWFUEL – Law firm, law, legal, attorney news – Foley & Lardner LLP executed a new 15-year lease extension and expansion for a total of 200,000 square feet of office space at Washington Harbour, 3000 K St., in Georgetown. The lease was executed with owner Broadway Real Estate Partners, LLC.
“Washington is one of the firm’s fastest-growing markets, and we are aggressive with our plans to expand our presence,” said Richard Weiss, managing partner of Foley & Lardner’s Washington, D.C. Office. “The new lease will accommodate our expansion.”
The Jones Lang LaSalle team of Philip Leibow, Executive Vice President, and Gay Shackelford, Senior Vice President, of the D.C. office, and Melissa Copley, Managing Director, and Steve Steinmeyer, Senior Vice President, of the Chicago office represented Foley in the transaction. Melissa Copley and Steve Steinmeyer lead the Foley relationship nationwide. Broadway Real Estate Partners, LLC represented themselves.

Under the terms of the new lease, Foley will occupy the top four contiguous floors in Washington Harbour, with expansion rights on other floors of the building. The firm currently occupies approximately 125,000 square feet in the building.
