WASHINGTON D.C. (March 7) — Kilpatrick Stockton LLP announced today that Antitrust Practice Partner Constance K. Robinson has been named to the prestigious International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists 2007. This peer nominated distinction sets Ms. Robinson apart as one of the world’s pre-eminent Competition attorneys. Selections to the International Who’s Who listings are based upon a comprehensive and independent survey of both general counsel and private practice attorneys worldwide.

Ms. Robinson joined the Washington D.C. office of Kilpatrick Stockton in September 2003. Her practice focuses on domestic and international antitrust matters, including counseling, agency representations, corporate internal investigations, criminal investigations and litigation. She has represented corporations and individuals in international cartel investigations and international mergers.

Prior to joining Kilpatrick Stockton Ms. Robinson served as Director of Operations for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division. She had significant responsibility for the Division’s civil matters, including merger investigations and cases, and participated in drafting the 1997 Horizontal Merger Guidelines. Ms. Robinson also served as a liaison for the Division with antitrust enforcement agencies throughout the world. Before becoming Director of Operations, she was a Section Chief at the Division. Ms. Robinson also headed up the Task Force responsible for implementing the AT&T breakup.
Ms. Robinson received her B.S. from Northeastern University in 1970 and her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in 1976. She has been recognized with the Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Executives, the highest award achievable in civil service. She has also been internationally recognized as an antitrust expert and named one of the World’s “Top 100 Women in Antitrust.”

Ms. Robinson is a frequent speaker on antitrust issues, including programs sponsored by the American Bar Association, Practicing Law Institute and The Conference Board. She recently had an article published in the Sedona Conference Journal regarding competitive bidding and price discrimination.
