The Whanganui law firm owned by the late Graham Takarangi has been taken over by Treadwell Gordon.
Mr Takarangi, who was principal of Graham Takarangi & Co, died on March 12.
Treadwell Gordon, whose head office is in Whanganui, has been working with the administrators of Mr Takarangi’s estate and completed the acquisition of Graham Takarangi & Co on Wednesday, April 4.
Richard Austin, a partner in Treadwell Gordon who worked with Mr Takarangi over many years, said Mr Takarangi’s commitment to the field of law and to his clients was “remarkable”.
